Ah what a Summer that was....

Hello Makers! I am sorry I have been so quiet in this space. I am very much here. Basically recovered from a delicious Summer with the most wonderful group of human beings…. I am in the process of editing my photos from all three retreats, when they are ready I will write up a little recap. I wanted to duck in here to let you all know that I will most certainly be running a season of retreats for 2023! I am waiting on dates from Medomak, when I get them I will share them to my newsletter, and here as well. Unless something monumental changes, I will again run two sessions of Slow Fashion retreats (for the garment sewists), and one of Slow Stitching (for the quilters). I will share the dates in advance of the instructors so that those who know they want to return regardless can make plans for their Summer. As in previous years, I will announce the full line up of instructors and programming in early January, and then registration will open in early March. All of this will be announced to my newsletter folks. So if you want to know when and what is happening, sign up for that!

One thing I do know for sure after last Summer, and other experiences I have had, I will continue to vigilant about Covid. We made plans and stuck to them and they kept us safe and free. The one time we let down our guard it reinforced the reason for the plans.

It is a fraught platform, but if you want to keep up with what I’m doing on a more regular basis, I am pretty active on Instagram… Sigh.
