~At Z you can find a well curated selection of modern fabrics, patterns and notions., conveniently located in downtown Portland.

KnitWit

~A lovely collection of yarns, patterns and needles, and they are the flagship shop for Quince & Co. In the East End section of Portland.

~Locally hand dyed yarns in the Old Port section of Portland.

~A remarkable selection of quilting fabrics nestled in a bucolic hamlet, about 45 minutes North of Portland.

Fiddlehead Artisan Supply

~Worth driving up to Belfast to visit.  Abby Gilchrist has an astounding eye and endless curiosity. This is one of my all-time favorite fabric stores.... She also sells online!

Clementine

~ An astounding resource for Maine garment sewists. Also totally worth the drive upstate especially for those who like to sew their own clothes.
